Sit Means Sit? Welcomes New Video Producer Joanie Spina

(PRWEB) July 26, 2007 -- Sit Means Sit? is excited to announce that Joanie Spina, founder of Roxie Video Productions of Las Vegas, will be producing all of our videos for our website and beyond. Joanie Spina spent more than 11 years overseeing major theatrical productions such as David Copperfield's CBS Specials, his Broadway show and she currently works with Magic Underground in Reno. She has turned her attention to making documentary films, forming Roxie video Productions of Las Vegas.

"Many people have told us how much they enjoy and appreciate our dog training video (http://www.sitmeanssit.com/) demonstrations and we want to present the highest quality of video that we can. Joanie Spina brings years of production experience that will enhance our video library and is a great asset to our company," said Fred Hassen, CEO of Sit Means Sit? Dog Training.

Hassen continued, "We are lucky to have Joanie Spina join our team. We have been looking forward to the opportunity to work with Joanie and show the world just how special this training method is through her videos."

Sit Means Sit? is a Las Vegas based dog training company with locations nationwide. Spina has been interested in animals for many years, her dedication to animal welfare and animal rights makes her a great fit for the Sit Means Sit family. She sees documentary film as a way of raising awareness to make the world a better place for all creatures on this earth.

Using film allows Joanie Spina to provide a voice for those who can not speak for themselves. Since the beginning, Sit Means Sit has used videos as a way to share knowledge about our methods for training dogs with the remote electronic collars (http://www.sitmeanssit.com/). People who have not worked with electronic collars are often concerned that they are safe and gentle for their pets. Our videos have given us the chance to show everyone the firm but gentle command that the electronic collar can give trainers. "We look forward to sharing new, high quality videos with our customers, other trainers and people who are looking for a safe, effective method for training their pets," said Hassen.

Joanie Spina lives in Las Vegas with her menagerie of three dogs, three tame cats and a colony of adult ferals. She named her production company, Roxie Video Productions, after her dog Roxie, a small golden terrier mix that was a rescue. Roxie was found by Animal Control on a Las Vegas street, with one eye hanging out of the socket and was brought to the Lied Animal Shelter where she was given excellent medical care and rehabilitation. Roxie was lucky enough to find a home with Joanie where she flourishes.

"Joanie Spina brings a wealth of professional experience, as well as a love of animals to her work with Sit Means Sit. Her ability to capture the most important aspects of the relationship between pet and owner, animal and trainer on video makes her an essential member of our team."
