BA Collective Announces New Business Analysis BA Collective Video Webcast Series

Saint Paul, MN (PRWEB) July 18, 2008 -- On July 18th, 2008 the BA Collective announced the new Business Analysis BA Collective Video Webcast Series (http://www.bacollective.com). The series is a new resource and will provide another dimension to the BA Collective business analysis articles by providing an additional format to receive information, education and news from the BA Collective. The Business Analysis Video Webcast Series was developed together by the BA Collective (http://www.bacollective.com) and Collective Genius (http://www.collective-genius.com).

The video webcasts will focus on current and past articles to provide a new format and learning resource for the National Business Analysis Community. In developing the video webcasts they will provide another free educational resource for Business Analysts. Dave Albright the Community Leader of the BA Collective said "We believe this is the next step in the evolution of the BA Collective, it will continue to push our community forward in our goal to create a gathering place for like-minded professionals dedicated to the practice of business analysis."

The first in the series of video webcasts will introduce people to the BA Collective. The first video provides a basis for the reason the BA Collective has been created; which runs a parallel mission with Collective Genius - the Local Business Analysis Center of Excellence. The mission of both the BA Collective and Collective Genius is to bridge the gap between the need for professional and experienced Business Analysts (http://www.collective-genius.com) and the projects that need them. They hope by empowering the unity of Business Analysts, education and providing additional content resources like the BA Collective Video Webcast Series will help move them towards accomplishing this mission.

The second BA Collective Webcast Video focuses on Use Cases. This video was created to coordinate with Use Case Classics, an article written by one of Collective Genius' founders, Andrew Kass. The article was largely written from a speech that Andrew gave to the IIBA - Twin Cities (International Institute of Business Analysts - Minneapolis Saint Paul Chapter). Use Case Classics was developed to reinforce the importance of use cases and to encourage business analysts, who normally wouldn't utilize use cases, to give them a try. Both the video webcast and Kass' article will give a great overview of use case terminology and emphasize the importance of using the proper process and methodology that is right for the Business Analyst (http://www.collective-genius.com) and the environment that they are in.
